Being rescued was the best thing that ever happened to a sweetheart, “good ol’ boy” like me! I was picked up from a pound, covered with ticks and fleas and filthy! They took care to rid me of those and gave me wonderful baths. I finally got to learn how nice it is to nap in my rescuers’ arms! Life doesn’t get much better than that, right? It gets better?? Well, my eyes have what's called "dry eye" and will need drops daily. Thanks to DDRTX and the wonderful people that donated money for my surgery, my eyes are much better. I’ll need a special family that takes great care of my eyes to ensure they don’t lose that perfect twinkle! I don’t mind the drops at all and know they make me feel much better. I promise to make it very easy for you to put them in! Overall, I love being around people, and really like men. Being a “long and low” small standard (about 25 pounds,) you’ll find I’m a laid back, young, playful, semi-couch potato. When meeting new people I do get a bit nervous but warm up quickly. Once I trust you, my tail doesn’t know how to stop wagging when I see you! Other dogs (big or small!) are great company and my preference is the quieter ones. Did I mention that “lap napping” is super fun and believe me I could even share the big bed with you nicely. I’m proud to say that my house manners and potty training are up to snuff too! We can play with toys as they are proving to be quite a bit of fun, especially the laser light ones. What do I REALLY want the most? To feel loved and safe with you! I make it so very easy by being an easy going, love bug. I'll give you a hug and a kiss to show I care! Now all we need to do is one more thing I’m good at – taking a car ride home to my new furever home – with you!
